Flaws You Cannot Hide By Staging Your Home.

When you sell your Louisville home, you want it to look as good as possible.  To do this, your real estate agent will help you stage you home, or, if needed, assist you with finding a professional to stage your home.  This means de-cluttering your home, rearranging furniture, and de-personalizing each room.

A staged home is more appealing to buyers and helps to highlight your home's positive features.  However, staging is not meant to cover major flaws in your home.  Some things need to be repaired.

Roof Problems

It doesn't matter how pretty your home in Louisville is, your buyer is going to expect you to fix roof problems or adjust the price to cover them.  The roof is one of the most important parts of the house.

Cracked Tile

Of course, you can use throw rugs to cover cracks in the tile, but chances are that the buyer will look under them.  Then, they may feel like you are trying to hide a serious problem.  Save yourself the headache and have the floors fixed.

Broken Windows

You have to expect your buyers to walk around your home checking out the views.  They're going to notice any cracks.  If you have the budget, consider upgrading the windows to make your home more marketable.  At the very least, you should have the glass replaced.

Torn Screens

If you have torn screens, the buyers may think that you don't take care of the property.  Yet, screens are fairly easy to fix on your own.  With the right supplies from your local hardware store, you can have new, sleek screens is less than a day.

As Your agent, I work with my clients to help them get their home ready to sell by providing them a 1 Hour FREE consultation with my professional stager/designer.  This is a service I provide as well as a professional photographer and cleaning company.
