Oldham County is the wealthiest county in Kentucky and 48th wealthiest county in the U.S. Named after Colonel William Oldham, the county is located approximately 20 minutes northeast of downtown Louisville and is well known for its award winning schools, beautiful horse farms, and plentiful outdoor activities.
